Grounded Knowledge After School Gardening Programs
for 8-12 year olds:
Students work in small groups planting, cultivating and harvesting a variety of crops that they then “gift” to the senior center to augment their breakfast and lunch programs. Nature activities, yoga, science projects, and cooking, are also part of the programs hands-on-learning experiences.
These programs run seasonally on Thursday afternoons from 3:30-5:30 at the Grounded Knowledge garden behind Prospect Hill Senior Service Center in Brooklyn, NY. Tuition is $225 per session.
