Through our summer camp, after school, and school programs, Grounded Knowledge brings children in direct contact with the process of transforming open urban spaces into thriving organic gardens. For example Grounded Knowledge together with Prospect Hill Senior Service Center, offers opportunities for older adults and children to work together while fostering relationships through gardening and cooking. With the garden as the context, the partnership provides everyone with a safe, inspiring social space to engage positively with community members.
SCHOOL PROGRAMS: Grounded Knowledge offers limited programming for schools
interested in developing intergenerational relationships between their students
and the seniors at Prospect Hills Senior Service Center or who are interested
